Storm Swell Series

This series captures the shifting temperament of the ocean during and after storms — moments when raw power gives way to calm, and energy reshapes the shore. Shot around East Hampton as hurricane and tropical storms passed offshore, these photographs reflect the rhythm of transition: towering swells collapsing into stillness, light softening over turbulent water, and the coastline redefined by each passing wave.

The work explores the dual nature of the sea — its force and fragility, movement and rest — and the quiet equilibrium that exists between them. Each image is a study of that balance, where chaos meets calm and the horizon seems to breathe again.
